In this blog, we’ll share five different activities to keep you and your group entertained during your next camping vacation trip!
Movie Nights
Setting up a movie night under the stars can be a fun way to end a long day of outdoor adventures. All of our accommodations have TV’s, but if you want to enjoy your movie night outside, all you need is a portable projector with a screen or a large white sheet and a projector app on your phone. Pop some popcorn, and gather around the screen to watch a family-friendly movie. You could even make it a theme night, such as a wilderness adventure movie, to keep with the camping vibe.
Game Time
If you have a group of friends or family members that love to play games, this is a great opportunity to unplug from screens and get back to playing traditional board or card games. Bring along a few of your favorite board games like Monopoly or Life, or try out some new ones. We have plenty of games to choose from in our Point & Feather Coffee Lounge!
Get Crafty
Camping at Little Arrow provides a unique opportunity to engage in some DIY crafts using natural materials you find around the resort. You could create friendship bracelets using twine, paint rocks and shells, or make a nature-inspired wreath using twigs and branches. These crafts can not only be fun to make, but also serve as a keepsake from your trip.
Scavenger Hunt
A scavenger hunt is a fun way to explore the surrounding nature and challenge your group to work together to complete a series of tasks. Make a list of items to find, such as specific plant species, animal tracks, or natural landmarks. Split into teams and race to see who can complete the scavenger hunt first. You can also make it more challenging by adding riddles or puzzles to the hunt.
Karaoke by the Campfire
If you have a guitar or other musical instruments, you can create a sing-along around the campfire. Everyone can take turns choosing a song to sing or playing a tune. You can even add in some karaoke-style lyrics on a screen or sheet of paper to make it more fun! And don’t forget your s’mores!
